Central Córdoba's nickname is "Los Ferroviarios" (The Railwaymen), while Talleres is known as "La T" or "El Matador" (The T or The Killer).
Both Central Córdoba and Talleres have a strong rivalry with Club Atlético Belgrano, another football club based in the city of Córdoba.
